Exciting Times at Pope & Associates!

In the current economic climate, we know that many of you are challenged with how to continue making progress in diversity and inclusion with fewer resources. Pope & Associates always strives to find ways that we can better meet your needs, add more value, and create innovative products/services which recognize the constantly evolving nature of our field in diversity training. Thus, we want to let you know of several new products, as well as improvements we have made in others.

In January 2009, we implemented our new and improved Critique Management System (CMS). Benefits include:

    o Enhanced Visual & Graphics

o Additional Analysis of Participant Responses

    o End of Project Reports

o Clients will receive Critique Summaries electronically – which is quicker and aligned with “the need to be green.”

Our public Diversity Learning Lab sessions are growing in popularity. Many of our clients are sending 2-4 executives to each of our public sessions.

o One client is using the DLL as a way to “jump start new mentoring relationships” by sending the “mentee” to the DLL with the executive. We think this is an excellent idea and will be developing a pre/post assessment tool that will assess how their mentoring relationship is progressing.

o Due to demand, we have increased the number of DLL sessions in 2009 including a session in California.

o We’ve been asked to consider offering a session in Philadelphia to reduce the travel for our East Coast clients.

We will offer a public session of our “Diversity: Skills for Ongoing Success” program in Cincinnati.

o This is a 2-day program that immerses participants in a   simulation experience where they face many typical management challenges, each of which has a “diversity related” situation embedded with it.

Our 2nd e-learning program, The TEAM Advantage, is now available. The format is similar to our award-winning program, The EDGE Advantage. New on-line programs on “Supplier Diversity” and “International Diversity” are available.

In 2008, we added the capability to do “On-line Focus Groups” which is a far more economical, efficient and effective way of obtaining qualitative data from your workforce. Participant anonymity is assured and the results have been impressive. Transcripts are available within 24 hours of the session.

We have developed a new on-line “Cultural Survey” that is completely customizable.

Pope’s Team Interaction Profile (TIP)™, a team-based assessment tool that analyzes how well a team of people who are supposed to be working together are actually working together has been updated and improved. In addition to your team’s data, we can also provide a comparison of your team’s results to other similar teams.
